Employees of the City of Fort Worth
Employees of Medstar
Employees of museums within the City of Fort Worth including Amon Carter, Kimbell Art Museum, and the Science & Technology Museum
Employees of specific companies that contract with the City of Ft Worth to provide services on an ongoing basis, including the Ft Worth Zoological Association, Waste Management, and the Ft Worth Stock Show
Relatives of current employees from the above listed groups
And “once a member, always a member” regardless of where you live or work. That means retirement or change of employment does not affect your membership status.
As a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative, Fort Worth City Credit Union was chartered in 1929 with the basic premise of offering generous rates of return on share accounts, low-interest loans, and useful financial services to help our members get more out of their hard earned dollars, and out of life.

With a minimum of a $25 deposit, eligible persons may join the Credit Union.Your membership entitles you to a vote and a voice in the daily operations.You have the option to elect volunteers to serve on the board of directors which sets policies and establishes bylaws.
After paying all operating expenses, Credit Union profits are returned to members in the form of higher returns on savings, lower rates on loans, and a variety of fee-free or low-cost services.

All credit union accounts are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, and agency of the federal government.It is one of the strongest share guarantees in the nation.
The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional share draft account (or demand deposit account) on which the insured credit union pays no interest or dividend. It does not include any transaction account that may earn interest or dividends, a negotiable order of withdrawal ("NOW") account, and money-market deposit accounts, even if share drafts may be drawn on the account.
